DISPATCH #19 · TUE, OCTOBER 20, 2026 · NoCo · TUE HIGH 72°
Postcard from NoCo
Hi NoCo families. Pumpkins on Parade fills the Gardens on Spring Creek in Fort Collins with themed pumpkin displays Thursday through Sunday evenings. It isn't a trick-or-treat, but costumes are welcome, and the Gardens says the 5 and 5:30 entry times work best for young kids. Buy a timed ticket ahead. This weekend, this week's Fall Stop, Tigges Farm in Greeley, brings in a petting zoo, wagon rides behind draft horses, and a unicorn, all free. Oh, the places you'll actually go.

Trick-or-Treat Guide
Halloween is next Saturday, and the guide on our site has every trunk-or-treat and trick-or-treat street through October 31, with times, addresses, and which ones are free. On Friday, October 30, Greeley's downtown Trick or Treat Street runs 4 to 6, and Tiny Tot Halloween fills Old Town Fort Collins from 10 to 1. On Halloween, Johnstown, Evans, and Windsor all hand out candy.

NoCo Regulars
Two Saturdays left for the Larimer County and Greeley farmers' markets (through October 31). Larimer County Farmers' Market (Sat 9 to 1, Old Town Fort Collins) · Greeley Farmers' Market (Sat 8 to noon) · Fort Collins Farmers' Market (Sundays through November 8)

The NoCo Fall Stop #6: Tigges Farm
Fall Stop #6 is Tigges Farm in Greeley, where Phillip and Lucy Tigges started farming in 1934. Ken Tigges and his siblings, Kathy Rickart and Gale Loeffler, run it now. Entry is free, and so are the farm's events. The drought left water for only three short rows of pumpkins, so there's no pumpkin hunt this year; the pumpkins they grew are sold at the farm stand, and $2 from every pink one goes to Hope Lives. Buy green chile and they roast it on site at no charge. This Saturday and Sunday is the farm's one events weekend this year: the Two by Two petting zoo 10 to 6, wagon rides behind Percheron draft horses 1 to 4, a unicorn (a Percheron in costume) 1 to 4, face painting by donation, and Penny's food truck. A pumpkin-launching trebuchet is penciled in for Saturday 1 to 3.
Tigges Farm · 12404 County Road 64 1/2, Greeley · Thu to Sun 10 to 6 through Oct 31 (closed Mon to Wed) · free entry and free events · cash, check, or card · tiggesfarmllc.com
Want to pick your own pumpkin? Osborn Farm in Loveland and Bartels Farm in Fort Collins are open every day through the end of the month, and our guide has the hours and prices for every patch.
